Hi, I’m Phil! I’m a Senior controls engineer that thrives in working on the tough problems. I love to research, analyze, and truly immerse myself in the problem at hand. My specialty is root cause analysis and implementing appropriate solutions to unique problems that arise. In recent years, I’ve dove into learning everything I can about software developement. I started out making simple websites with HTML, Javascript and CSS. I then moved onto making web applications in React. Currently I primarily develop tools in Go that facilitate my job as a controls engineer.

Senior Controls Engineer
Lead MES deployment and development. Responsible for WMS management and troubleshooting. Maintained OT servers (Linux and Windows Server 2012-2019). Responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and repairing PLC controlled systems.
Controls Support Engineer
Provided technical support for material handling equipment in the automated distribution center. Programmed, troubleshot, and repaired PLC controlled systems.
Control Technician
Maintained, improved, and modified existing automation systems, as well as provided technical support to production and maintenance personnel plant-wide.
Controls Co-op
Assisted controls engineering group with project documentation, materials requisition and setup, as well as wiring control cabinets.
Systems Installer
Installed card access control systems, HVAC control systems, and security camera systems in commercial and industrial environments.
Electrician
Installed raceways for high bay lighting systems, power distribution transformers ,high bay lighting, switches, receptacles; wire pulling ranging from 750 KC mil – 18 awg.
